St George's Nursing Home - Grand Re-Opening

Following a comprehensive 18-month renovation, Outlook Care were delighted to host a grand re-opening on 29th June 2024 of St George's Nursing Home in Witham, which they acquired in October 2022. The home had undergone a significant transformation to create a modern and welcoming environment that prioritises resident well-being. This gallery shows highlights of the day.

 

The re-opening ceremony was a vibrant celebration filled with varied activities and heartwarming moments. It was opened by Renaud Huck and Piot Rejek, (Outlook Care's Chair and CEO respectively.) Witham town’s Mayor Lucy Barlow and Local MP candidate, Dame Priti Patel, commended St. George's Nursing Home for its role in the Witham community, and a highlight was a performance by the Foxy Foxes Dementia Choir, from our sister care home, Foxburrow Grange in Colchester.

 

The refurbishment had included a complete modernisation of the kitchen and communal areas, along with significant upgrades to all 33 bedrooms. Each now featuring a nurse call system, television, internet and telephone point. Several ground-floor rooms further boast private terraces, providing residents a peaceful space to connect with nature.
